Responsibilities
- Create a network environment by designing the system configuration, installing and defining the system, documenting and applying system standards
- Develop and implement new solutions and increase the sustainability of the current environment
- Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, solving network problems, scheduling updates, and working with network architects to optimize the network.
- Search for errors in the data network in local and global environments, using information from various sources
- Protect network systems by defining and enforcing policies, as well as defining and controlling access
- Maintain and administer firewall environments in accordance with IT security policy
- Communicate the operational status of the network by collecting and prioritizing information and managing projects
- Update the data network equipment to the latest stable firmware versions
- Configure routing and switching equipment, hosted IP voice services and firewalls
